Cased Colt 1877 double action THUNDERER, cal 41 colt, BEST OF BEST

Cased Colt 1877 double action THUNDERER, cal 41 colt, Serial 46024, built in 1883.  This is a sherifs model (no ejectorhousing) rarer than the standard with one, barrellength is 3 1/2 inch. Probably unfired.  This is an early ETCHED  panel thunderer (cal 41 is a thunderer, 38 is a Lightning) and would be almost impossible to improve.  
It is fitted with the rare rosewood ffactory checkered grips which are perfect. All markings, mechanics , bore  and grips are perfect. 
Overall about 96 to 97 % deep original blue.  
The case is a correct one, english made in superior condition.  It contains the tiangular lid, cleaningrod, screwdriver and oiler. all correct and untouched. comes for the famed collection of Senator Ford.  BEST OF BEST
