Factory engraved colt Richard's conversion, cal 44 CF,

 Year of manufacture 1864, Matching numbers included grip. 8 inch barrel with matt bore and good grooves. Metal parts nearly bright surface, without finish, few spotted parts. Factory engraving in good condition. The trigger guard nearly lost all of the silver plated finish but has the very rare I and E arkings, stnds for Ivoroy and  ENGRAVING , rare to find these two markings on the same gun. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped with the one-line legend:"-ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-". "COLTS PATENT" is hand engraved in one line into banner on the left side of the frame, confirming the status of factory engraving.  The cylinder is roll-engraved with the Texas Navy battle scene and "COLTS PATENT NO." Fine one piece FACTORY Ivory Grips with repaeired  part on the right side.. Three-screw frame with no stock cuts but with two non professional holes on both sites for stock.  Mechanical excellent. Correct rarfe factory engraved conversion having factory installed ivory grips. fine condition.
