Silver Russian ammo belt for a Colt Berdan rifle, cal 42 centerfire RARE BEST OF BEST

Silver Russian ammo belt for a Colt Berdan rifle, cal 42 centerfire. Total length is 36 inch (91,44 cm) ans weighs a massive 53.38 ouces (1513 grams) of pure silver. 

These were used by the Rusian Kozaks,elitetroops that were issued the Colt Berdan single shot rifle having cyrillic markings.  The item needs to be further researched, I do not know the markings, only know they were used by the Kozaks and a few are known, probably by the officrs since this was a trulyexpensive item. 

It can hold 40 rounds and every part of this superb belt is had cut and carved. The cloverleaf shaped clasp is adornes with a massive silver bal and a standard hook at the back. Ihae nevr seen one for sale, only seen them in books.  all 40 silver ammoholders are in great shape, no repairs. truly a BESDTOF BEST
