1840 'wRISTBREAKER' heavy Cavalry sword by TIFFANY WITH PEDIGREE    

This sword comes straight from the Tully family  estate in Prescott AZ.   Their great great grandfather  was teh aide de camps of General john C. Freemont during the civil war. 

This sword never left the family and I purchased it recently,  it will come with a signed document by a civil war specialist stating that this came out of this family and is the real thing, so true provenance,

The sword is in the original condition and has not been shortened or altered,  the wiring on the leather grip is missing for 80 %. 
THe blade is signed TIFFANY. 

The sheat is original and the correct one, Overall length is 42 inches , not including the sheath and the blade is 35. 

No pitting on the blade, the sheath has taken a partilly golden shimmer color. MAde end of the 1850ties,
