Rare US MArtially marked colt 1861 Navy percussion revolver, cal 36

Rare US Martially marked colt 1861 Navy percussion revolver, cal 36  Flayderman P 95 item 5B 101

This is one of the truly hard to find colts, only a few hundred out of  a production of 28000 were martially marked.

This one has a sharp cartouche on the left girp and all the inspectormarks are present on the frame, barrel and cylinder.  No Us on the frame and that is correct.  All  markings are present.

The front of the barrel turned dark brown, needs a liitle bit of cleaning, scene is all there, overallmedium grey with good rifling. grips are outstanding.

works perfect.

Only the 3rd martially marked one I have had in over 20 years, truly rare.
