S/W New model 3 single action revolver, cal 44 Russian, Japanese contract  UNFIRED

S/W New model 3 single action revolver, cal 44 Russian, Japanese contract  UNFIRED

serialnumber 31044, middle of the serials of the last japanese contract.  These did not have the japanese markings, since they never got paid and not shipped to Japan. If you ask a letter for this one  it will letter as a Japanese contract.

I do believe that it is unfired,, all the casehardening on the hammer and triggerguard; Added lanyardring by S/W, was part of the japanese contract, and thus the serialnumbrers got moved to the top of the underside of the gripstrap. 93 to 94 % original blue ( pictures do not do justic e for the quality of this gun.

The bore is completely mint as should be for an unfired one,

Overall 97 to 98 % orig. blue, pergfect grips and adress.
Superior and important S/W.
