Superior James Reid Pocket revolver No4 BELLY GUN ,cal 32 rimfire

Superior James Reid Pocket revolver No4 BELLY GUN ,cal 32 rimfire     Flayderman P 508, item 8A 144

The barrel has been shortened to 2 1/2 inch, also known as a Belly gun.  Serialnumber 3023.  The belly guns have their place in the Us 19th century and are highly collected in the Us. The trick is to find a high conditioned one.

Here the barrel  still has the adress and 99 % orig. blue. The iron frame has 90 % of the original silver and the cylinder has 95 % of the blue.

The cylinder has threads in the chambers so nipples could be added if there was no .32 rimfire avaliable.

The orig. rosewood grips are outstanding retaining 99 % of the varnish.  This is the variation with the small gate popping up vertically on the right side of the frame.  Approx 1000 made, excellent shooter.
