Deluxe Engraved Winchester 1866, collection of Porforia Diaz

Deluxe Engraved Winchester 1866, collection of Porforia Diaz  . PRICE ON REQUEST
this one profusely deep engraved on all the brass.  The serialnumber has been overengraved and is not visible, but it is a genuine Winchester 1866 and it is a third model.  The adress is all visible and correct for a third model.

apparently this one got sold in an auction , beginning in the 1980,ties with paperwork that it belonged to president Porfiro Diaz of Mexico who was a guncollector.
Unfortunately I can only tell the story because the documentationgot lost over time.  So we have to judge this Winchester by it's merits.

Stock is fine and all correct for a third model; some decent blue left on barrel.  Brass has a nice patina, and look at the pictures for the engraving.  Should be part of a top collection.
Works perfect.
