Sharps New model 1869 Carbine , cal 50-70

Sharps New model 1869 Carbine , cal 50-70, serial 96673, barrel is extra heavy and is marked old reliable, and has a slightly higher serialnumber.

This is a typical example of an assembled Sharps, after they went bankrupt,  several af these were sold to indian tribes, this one probably too, since it has genuine hand made antique tacks on the stco,

Bore is fine, markings are light,

These can just not be found, only around 1000 ever made of the model 1869 and only about 500 carbines,  Super find, overall dark brown and stock shows serious use, but functions 100 % and has that great western indian look.
