Colt single action artillery, cal 45, first year production . Serial 7595 on frame, barrel is military inspected and has the first variation of the italic adress, bore has spots, adress is very sharp.  The ejectorhouse has the first variation of the stud. Various places have the military inspectormarks.  This one was born as a Cavalry and was refurbished by springfield and reduced to a 5 1/2 inch barrel. Completely correct, ant the mixed serialnumbers is correct. When refurbished the frame got polished, no patents left, maybe never had any, often seen on the ery early ones.  The grips are genuine antique gutta percha. BUT these were made with wooden grips, sothe grips are a replacement, still genuine antique Colt grips. Works fine,
