Rare early colt Baby dragoon revolver, cal ,31   BEST OF BEST

Only about 800 made in this configuration; first month production, serialnumber 442, all matching, including the bore. als has the round (not oval) cylinderstops and the very rare 5 inch barrel, production for this barrellength was approx 24 % of the total, so only about 200 made with this length.

The dragoon scene is 100 %.  Grips are outstanding, retaining most of the original varnish, bore is minty, seems unfired, silver on brass is 95 %, the chambers retain all their blue and the cylinder has 55 % blue left, the rest has approx 40 % blue, remainder a light brown to grey, very sharp angles, no loss of metal at all; would be vIrtually impossible to improve this one, certainly a first month production.  BEST OF BEST
