Colt Lightning large frame rifle, cal 45-85-285

.

Colt Lightning large frame rifle, cal 45-85-285, serialnumber 5588, built in 1891.

The 28 inch octagon barrel has a sharp adress and exvellent bore, light markings, but nothing to worry about.  Most of the barrel and magazine is medium to dark brown, the frame has some blue left, stock has a repair at the toe and has a silver inlay medallion on the right side   Works fine, original sights present,

The rampant horse on the left side of the frame is visible, a bit light, but under the right light it is there, difficult to picture.

hard one to find.
